What is Chiropody?
Chiropody is the assessment of the foot and the treatment and prevention of diseases or disorders of the foot by therapeutic, surgical, orthotic and palliative means. Our procedures range from the cutting of toenails (ingrown or not) and the removal of corns and calluses to the surgical removal of nails and warts or other foreign bodies in the foot. Chiropody is essential to athletes with foot problems, as well as people suffering from diabetes-related symptoms, including nerve damage and poor circulation. Chiropodists are highly trained in biomechanics and orthotic design.
